Holidays and bank closures

All observed holidays listed below are statutory bank holidays in the United States. This means that they do not count as business days. Any transactions into or out of Mercury will resume processing on the next proceeding business day. Mercury Support will also be unavailable as our teams take a well deserved break.

 

Mercury observes the following 11 holidays:

  • New Years Day (January 1st)
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 15th)
  • President’s Day (Third Monday of February)
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday of May)
  • Juneteenth (June 19th)
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day (First Monday of September)
  • Indigenous Peoples’ Day (Second Monday of October)
  • Veterans Day (November 11th)
  • Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November)
  • Christmas Day (December 25th)

     

Holidays that fall on a Saturday are observed on the Friday preceding the holiday, whereas holidays that fall on a Sunday are observed the following Monday.
