Payment links are an easy, informal way to collect money from your contacts. You can generate a quick link and share it with a contact when you just need a simple, lightweight way to get paid.
Creating a new payment link
- Open the Move Money menu in the upper right corner of your dashboard, then Request Money
- Select a contact you've previously sent to or input details of a new one
- Input the amount, add an optional note, or attachment, and select which account you want to receive the payment. Once complete click Create & Send
- A shareable link will be automatically generated and sent to your contact
What your contact sees
Your recipient will be given a standalone link with the payment amount, deadline, and other info you included when creating the payment link.
- If they also have a Mercury account, they'll be able to select an account to pay from and submit payment immediately

If they don't have a Mercury account, they'll be provided with ACH/Wire and International Wire details to submit payment
Managing payment links
Go to your Payments page, then select payment links to view all of your active and canceled payment links.
Click any of these line items to open up the link details. From there, you can re-copy the payment link, send a reminder, cancel the link, or mark the payment link as paid.
