Managing account access

Admins can customize which Mercury accounts are visible to custom users via the Users page. When account access is granted, a custom user can view transactions, send and receive money, and get a card associated with that account. Without access, the account details and balances are hidden and they're unable to interact with the account.

Inviting a user as custom user

  1. Go to Settings > Users.
  2. Click Invite. Note: inviting custom users in bulk is not yet supported.
  3. Assign the user the custom user role. From there, you can continue to customize their send money permissions and account access.

  4. Once you confirm the user details and role permissions, the invite will be sent immediately.
  5. When the user accepts the invite and sets up their Mercury profile, they’ll have access to the set of accounts you specified.

Editing account access for an existing user

  1. Go to Settings > Users.
  2. Find the user’s name and click on it to open up their details.
  3. Click the triple dot icon and select Edit.
  4. If the team member is already a custom user, customize their account access as needed and then Save. If they are not a custom user, update their role to custom user and then configure account access as needed.
