A referral landing page is a unique page on mercury.com that the partnership team sets up for referrals to visit and start an application to join Mercury.
When a referral from a partner visits this landing page and signs up for Mercury, we then capture the data that this new Mercury user came from this specific partner.
On this referral landing page, most partners have payout deals located in a box at the top of the page. This deal is something we provide the partner and/or the referral as an incentive to apply for Mercury. An example deal could be something like “Get $500 free if you deposit $50k into your Mercury account within 90 days of being approved."
We can also customize this referral landing page for partners. We can do the following:
- Add your logo to the header of the page next to our Mercury logo
- Edit the Heading on the page
- Edit the Subheading on the page
- Hide the deal box

Referral Payout Information
Payout Schedule
Payouts are systematically processed on the first business day of each month. This schedule is designed to provide a consistent and reliable framework for partners to anticipate their earnings.
Processing Time
Once payouts have been initiated, please allow up to 5 business days for the funds to reach your account. This window accounts for potential processing delays that may occur within banking institutions.
Payout Inquiries
In the event that you do not receive your payout within the expected timeframe, we encourage you to contact us for assistance. To expedite the resolution process, please send an email to partnerships@mercury.com.
Earnings
Your payout is directly correlated with the number of referrals who successfully meet the signup goals within the specified period. The specific terms of your partnership agreement determine the exact payout amount.

The essence of the partner program is simple: the more successful referrals you make, the greater your earnings. We encourage you to leverage this opportunity to maximize your income while offering valuable incentives to potential customers.
Referral Submission
To ensure that your referrals are accurately tracked and attributed to your KPIs, it is crucial that they apply through your unique landing page. This is the only method to guarantee that the referral is associated with your account.
Banking Details
To facilitate a referral bonus payout, Mercury requires the following banking details from the partner (note that U.S.-based partners need a Mercury account to receive payouts):
- Bank account address: The physical address associated with the bank account
- Routing number: The nine-digit code used to identify a financial institution in the United States
- Account number: The unique number identifying the partner's specific account within the bank
What if my partners or clients are not using the landing page?
Speak to your partner manager about setting up a direct referral process with our sales team and/or ask your partner manager to manually attribute said referrals in Mercury's backend.
