We accept the following types of government-issued IDs:

  • US Driver's License or State ID that clearly displays all necessary information, including ID photo, full name, date of birth, date of expiration, and ID number
  • Permanent Residency Card
  • Passport or Passport Card (U.S or international passports)
  • US Territory Driver's License (e.g., Puerto Rico)


The following requirements must be met for all IDs. Failure to adhere to these requirements may cause your application to be rejected:

  • The face is clear in the photo
  • First and last names are legible
  • Date of birth clearly visible
  • The expiration date is visible and the ID is unexpired
  • The photo is free of glares
  • The photo is an original and not a photocopy


Unacceptable forms of identification include:

  • Expired or voided documents
  • National identification cards
  • US city-issued ID cards
  • Paper temporary IDs


The following is an acceptable format for a passport photo. Everything is current, displayed clearly and there are no glares:
