As an IO account holder, you're required to pay off your full statement balance each month. To make this a little easier, we require you to set up automatic payments by default when opening your IO account.
You can choose what day of the month you'd like the payment to process and a primary payment account to pay from. You can also select a secondary account to help cover the difference if your primary account doesn't have enough available funds when the payment is attempted.
You can edit these autopay settings anytime on your Credit Card page as long as you don't currently have a payment due.
Paying off your balance early
If you want to free up some credit outside of your normal autopay schedule, you can make a one-off manual payment any time.
- Go to your Credit Card page.
- Near the top, select the Pay button.
- Select your payment amount and the account you want to pay from, then select Review and Confirm Payment.
