International payments are often sent through the SWIFT network, a secure system used by banks worldwide to move money.
A receiving or intermediary bank may request a SWIFT receipt to confirm the payment was initiated. This document includes details like the amount, currency, and sender, and may take the form of an MT103 or a pacs.008, depending on how the payment was sent.
How to download a SWIFT receipt
- Go to your Transactions page from the left sidebar menu
- Click the transaction you need a receipt for
- Scroll to the "Mercury-generated receipts" section
- Click SWIFT receipt to download a PDF copy
Note: If payment is still pending or is scheduled but hasn’t actually been sent, you may not see the "SWIFT receipt" option yet. If the payment has cleared and you’re still not seeing it, email help@mercury.com and we’d be happy to forward the document you need.
