Downloading a SWIFT receipt

If you're sending an international wire, the recipient or their bank may ask for a SWIFT receipt to confirm the payment was sent. This document can help track down funds or verify that a transfer was initiated correctly.

SWIFT receipts typically include details like the amount, currency, and sender. Depending on how the payment was sent, the receipt may be in the form of an MT103 or pacs.008.

How to download a SWIFT receipt

  1. Go to your Transactions page from the left sidebar menu
  2. Click the transaction you need a receipt for
  3. Scroll to the "Mercury-generated receipts" section
  4. Click SWIFT receipt to download a PDF copy

Note: If payment is still pending or is scheduled but hasn’t actually been sent, you may not see the "Mercury receipt" option yet. If the payment has cleared and you’re still not seeing it, reach out to us and we’d be happy to forward the document you need.
