Mercury cards - including both debit and credit - default to expiring 6 years from the creation date. However, you can also choose the specific date on which you want a card to expire when creating a new card.
How to set a custom expiry date on a card
- Head to your Cards page in Mercury and choose the option to make a new debit or credit card
- When entering the details for the card you’re creating, scroll to the bottom and just before you select Issue Debit/Credit Card check the Card expiration box to create a custom expiry
- From here all you need to do is enter the exact expiration date for the card and then proceed with issuing it and your card is good to go
