Creating a custom expiry date on cards

Mercury cards - including both debit and credit - default to expiring 6 years from the creation date. However, you can also choose the specific date on which you want a card to expire when creating a new card.

How to set a custom expiry date on a card

  1. Head to your Cards page in Mercury and choose the option to make a new debit or credit card
  2. When entering the details for the card you’re creating, scroll to the bottom and just before you select Issue Debit/Credit Card check the Card expiration box to create a custom expiry
  3. From here all you need to do is enter the exact expiration date for the card and then proceed with issuing it and your card is good to go
