Navigating your IO card statement

Your IO statement is a monthly summary of activity on your IO card. It shows what you spent, what you paid, and your balance as of your statement end date. This article covers where to find you statement, what's included in a statement and how autopay shows up.

Accessing your IO statements

Your IO card statements are available in the Documents & Data section of your Mercury account. Here’s how to access your statements:

  1. Click your org name in the top left-hand corner of your dashboard on web
  2. Click Documents & Data
  3. Select your Credit account from the Accounts dropdown
  4. Select the time period(s) and click Download

Statements are generated monthly. You can also download a CSV of your credit transactions from the same page.

What's included in your IO statement

Each statement covers one billing period — from your statement start date to your statement end date. Only activity that occurred within that window appears on the statement. Transactions or payments that happen after the end date will appear on your next statement.

Your statement includes:

  • An overview of your IO credit account, including your credit limit, total spending, and cashback
  • All posted transactions during the billing period
  • Any payments you made during the billing period
  • Your statement balance as of the end date (what you owed at the close of the period)

How autopay shows on your statement

Autopay is shown as a scheduled payment on the statement cover page, separate from your statement balance. Autopay typically runs after your statement closes, so it falls into the next billing period rather than the current one.

If you make a manual payment before the statement end date, that payment will appear inside the statement itself.

How transactions are displayed on your statement

We recently updated how transactions on your IO card statement are shown to align with standard credit card accounting:

  • Charges and balances display as positive values — these represent amounts owed
  • Payments and refunds display as negative values — these represent reductions to your balance

This differs from your Transactions page, which shows charges as debits from your spending power. Both views are correct — they reflect the same activity from different accounting perspectives.

FAQ

Why are payments missing from my statement?

Payments appear on the statement for the period in which they post, not when they're initiated. If a payment was initiated before your statement end date but posted after, it will appear on your next statement instead. To confirm the payment was processed, check your transaction history on your Credit page.

Why does this month's starting balance not match last month's ending balance?

Starting May 15, 2026, we made some changes to  the IO card statements. As a result, your first statement after May 15 may show a starting balance that differs from your previous statement's ending balance. This is a one-time difference as the new format takes effect — it is not a bug or a missing payment. Going forward, your starting balance will always match the previous statement's ending balance.

Are statements issued prior to May 2026 going to be reissued to follow the same format?

Yes, regenerated statements for download will follow the new format.

The IO Card is issued by Patriot Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard International Incorporated.
