Gathering your documents

To complete a Mercury application, you'll need the following documents:

Your company formation document

This is what's on file with the Secretary of State in the US state where you're registered.

For certain qualified Non-US Entities based in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, United Arab Emirates, Bahamas, Bermuda, Singapore, or Jersey, it would be the document issued by the country you're registered in.

 

 

Your IRS-issued EIN document

You'll need to submit either Form CP575, Form 147c, or a completed SS-4. If you are submitting a SS-4, please ensure it is not just the application, but the returned version from the IRS.

We do NOT require an EIN document from Non-US Entities.

 

 

US government ID or International Passport

We will need this for each founder or majority owner of the company.
