Mercury reports IO credit card payment data to Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet - two of the three major credit bureaus - in order to help our customers build their business credit.
At this time we only report to Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet. These reports contain all historical IO statement payments and end of month balances.
Benefits of building good credit history
- Access to Financing: A good credit score opens doors to better financing options, allowing you to secure loans, lines of credit, and business credit cards with favorable terms and lower interest rates.
- Supplier Relationships: Suppliers often check your business credit score when deciding whether to extend credit terms. A positive score can help you negotiate better payment terms and build stronger relationships with suppliers.
- Business Growth: A higher credit score can enhance your business's credibility, making it easier to attract investors, partners, and customers. It can also lead to improved opportunities for expansion and growth.
- Lower Costs: With a good credit score, you may qualify for lower insurance premiums and reduced lease costs, ultimately saving your business money.
Credit score and history questions
This should not impact individual Credit Scores of you or your Team Members, but only the overall business's credit.
Should you have questions with regards to your credit score or history, we recommend contacting Equifax or Dun & Bradstreet.
Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet are both able to parse the reports we send them and assign the correct credit information to the correct customer.
