Are you compatible with Zelle?
Not currently.
We do support payment processors like Stripe, Square, Shopify, and PayPal, or your customers can ACH or wire directly to your account. You can use your account details to link the Mercury account to those services.
Are you compatible with external payment processors?
Yes. We have many customers who use PayPal, Stripe, Shopify, Square, and other merchant services without issue. We also have quite a few users who have stores with Amazon, and we can accept Amazon payments.
To integrate with these services, you'll need to take your Mercury account and routing number and add it as a payment account on the processor's site. Make sure that you use your company's legal name as the account holder name, because a payment sent to a name other than your company's legal name may be returned due to the mismatch. We can show you how to update your Doing Business As name if need be.
Have a registered DBA or trade name? Email your DBA form to help@mercury.com and we'll add it to your account so you can receive payments under multiple names.
Does Mercury offer invoicing services?
Not currently, but it's a feature we're looking at adding in the future.
In the meantime, we recommend services like Stripe or Square for invoicing. Accounting software like Quickbooks or Xero can invoice as well.
