Updating your company's legal address

Mercury cannot accept P.O. Box addresses or virtual offices/workspaces as a company’s legal address. In order to maintain full access to your Mercury account, you must have a non-P.O. Box address listed as your company’s legal address. If you do not have a valid legal address on file, access to your Mercury account may be temporarily restricted. We are unable to make exceptions to this policy.

To confirm or update your company’s legal address

  • Click on your company name in the top left-hand corner of your dashboard, and then click Settings. This will open your Company Profile
  • Under “Company legal address”, you’ll see the option to either Edit or Contact Support to Update, depending on whether you’ve recently made an address change (within the past 90 days)
     

Notes on address requirements:

  • The address must be a physical location in the United States (e.g. the one on your company formation documents or an office)
  • P.O. boxes and virtual offices/workspaces are not accepted
  • Have updated formation documents (or equivalent) confirming the address change ready—our team will send a secure link to upload them after your request is submitted


If you experienced a failed wire due to having a P.O. Box address, you will need to resend the wire after your address is updated.
