Earning referral bonuses for Mercury business accounts

When you share Mercury with your network, you and your referrals can both earn bonuses. From the “Referrals” page, you can share your unique referral link, review bonus requirements, and track the status of your referrals.

To find the “Referrals” page, click your organization name in the top-left corner of your Mercury dashboard, then click Referrals.

You'll each get $250 when your referral deposits $10,000 within their first 90 days. Your referral will also receive an expedited application review.

Referral bonus qualifications

To qualify for the $250 referral bonus:

  • The person you refer must be a net new Mercury customer; they can’t already have a business or Mercury Personal account
  • Your referral must open a new business account using your unique referral link
  • They must deposit and maintain a balance of at least $10,000 in their Mercury account for at least one full business day during their first 90 days
  • You cannot refer a business that you own
  • Additional requirements and limitations may apply*

Sending a referral

  1. Go to your Referrals page
  2. Copy or share your unique referral link
  3. Have your referral use your unique link when signing up so you receive credit for the referral

Tracking your referrals

From your Referrals page, you can see which companies signed up via your referral link, and which bonuses have and haven’t been paid.

  • Started: Your referral started their application
  • Applied: Your referral submitted their application
  • Account opened: Your referral opened their account and is working toward the referral requirements
  • Paid: Your referral completed their first 90 days and deposited enough to qualify for the bonus. You can view the payment amount and date under Payout
  • Expired: Your referral is no longer eligible for a reward

*Bonus is subject to terms. Other conditions and limitations apply. Bonus amount, timing of payment, and all qualifying criteria are outlined in the Mercury Customer Referral Agreement.
