By default, your Mercury card will display your company name and the individual cardholder’s name. This article walks you through how to update both of these.
Updating your company name on team cards
To update the company name that appears on cards issued to your team, an admin on file will need to complete the following steps:
- Open the organization menu in the top left corner of your dashboard and click Settings
- Scroll down to "Company card name"
- Click Edit, enter a new name (up to 23 characters), and click Update Name
Updating your name on a card
To update the name that appears on cards issued to you:
- Open your profile in the top right corner of your dashboard (click your initials) and select Profile
- Locate your "Preferred Name" and click Edit to make changed and Update to save
Any physical cards created after this change will use the updated names. If needed, you can cancel older cards and issue new ones to reflect any changes.
