When you share Mercury Personal with your network, both you and your referral can earn bonuses.
You'll each get $120 when your referral deposits $10,000 or more within their first 90 days.
Referral bonus qualifications
To qualify for the $120 referral bonus:
- The person you refer must be a net new Mercury customer; they can’t already have a Mercury Personal or Business account
- Your referral must open a new Personal account using your unique referral link
- They must deposit and maintain at least $10,000 in their Mercury account for one full business day within their first 90 days
- You cannot refer yourself

Sending a referral
Go to your Referrals page to copy or share your unique referral link. Your referral must sign up directly through this link for you to receive credit.
Tracking your referrals
On your Referrals page, you can see who signed up through your referral link and which bonuses have or haven’t been paid.
Here’s what each referral status means:
- Paid: The referral has completed their first 90 days and deposited enough to qualify for the bonus. You can view the payment amount and date under “Referral payout"
- Started: The referral is currently within their first 90 days of using their account
- Closed: The referral either didn’t complete the application process, or they finished their first 90 days but did not meet the deposit requirement to earn the referral bonus.
