There are several ways to fund your personal account and receive deposits. You can get started by logging into your dashboard and clicking the Move Money button located in the top right corner, then selecting Deposit.
You’ll see several methods to choose from:
Wire Transfer
Typically received same or following business day (depending on the sending bank's cutoff time), wires are the quickest deposit option. You can download a PDF version of your Wire Instructions or select View More Details to preview and share your wire instructions with a recipient. You can also use this information to set up a direct deposit.
Bank Transfer
To perform a bank transfer, you can connect your domestic bank account via Plaid. Detailed instructions for this process can be found here. Transfers via Plaid typically take 3-5 business days to post to your account.
Check Deposit
You can deposit paper checks electronically via your dashboard or mobile app. Due to processing times and account history, you should see the funds post in 1-7 business days. Here is step-by-step guide with some helpful deposit tips.
Payment Request
Sending a payment request is an efficient way to ensure funds reach your desired account. This feature allows you to provide a link to the payer for them to initiate a payment without exposing your real account information.
Important usage information
Mercury’s Personal Banking Terms of Use restrict the use of personal banking accounts strictly for personal, family, or household purposes. These accounts must not be used to manage funds for business operations. However, this restriction does not apply to funds that have become your personal property through distributions, salaries, or profit sharing, which can be deposited into your personal banking account.
